From the puppy...

Hi! I know I'm a little ADD sometimes, or that's what my momma tells me, but i'm gonna try this blog thing. Hopefully, I won't distracted by a squirrel!!

Yesterday was a big day for me. I got to go to work with my momma, which is great because everyone loves me, and just wants to pet me all day. I didn't settle into my crate well, because i was so excited about everything else going on. And everytime I heard my momma's voice I started arfing again. She told me I was a pain in the butt, but I know she's just kidding. I dlept in the afternoon, but when my momma woke me up to leave, I was READY! Damn crate, it's not the same as being home freeranging in my house. :(

After we left momma's work, we went to our new house. Momma was taking a while signing papers, so I got to run around. I love when my house is empty. My old daddy used to call it my running room. haha. I am just the right height to try and jump on the counters in the kitchen too! My mommy was NOT impressed! I got yelled at a little. But I like my new house, and can't wait to go chasing Zeus around it. The only thing mommy needs to fix is the stairs, they are a little slippery for my furry feet!

When we got done at the house, my mommy put me in the car, and we explored our new neighborhood a bit. I like it. Lots of people to bark at! After we were done exploring, we went up to the hill for dinner. I got to run around outside for a while. I LOVE It there! SO mush grass for me to eat. I got to run around off m leash, and I even visited the neighbors. Mommy's noticing that I have been really barky recently, and she's getting pretty frusterated with me, so PLEASE let her know if you have any solutions. I don't like her getting sad with me.

But mommy seemed to have a nice dinner, and I got out to excercise, so all in all, it was a good day. I'm not happy about her leaving me this weekend, but I guess mommies of puppies need time off too!

Well, I'm off now, I think I heard dog show on the tv which means I have things to bark at!

So yesterday.

Let's talk about yesterday, shall we? Simple tuesday, right? Sure. Started off normal. Like any other day. Got up, dressed, came to work, went to pick up a vacuum cleaner, back to work. Home. Packed. Cooked dinner. Watched the yankees win. Hit a brick wall. Bawled for a good hour, until I fell asleep. Many things were going through my mind. Anger. Bitterness. Jealousy that he can emotionally detach himself. I think i finally know what it feels like to have a broken heart.

That being said. I know that I will recover. I know that it won't be an easy process. I know that it is going to be long, and sad. But I know that i will get there. And I have the support of my friends and family along the way. So I'm in a really good spot.

I'm headed over to the apt. today, so i can take some pictures, and measurements. I want to measure the windows, as well as try to find a place to put my table. I'm excited. I have a great friend (hopefully) meeting me at the apt to check it out, and give me some feedback. I won't have a lot of furniture for a while, I'm still trying to figure that part out. But I'll have a love seat and coffee table. :) I'll get it set eventually though!

Well, i'd post more but I should get some work done. I'll put pictures up tomorrow. :) Good day all!

A look at our upcoming week...

S0 here's what we are up to this week....Hope it's as exciting as I want it to be!

Tonight: picking up a new microwave! WooHoo!!! I'm very excited about this! I'll also be taking Emma Lou for a walk, as well as doing a little grocery shopping.

Tomorrow: working late. :( Taking Emma for a walk, and relaxing.

Wednesday: Going to apt. to check it out, as well as take some measurements. Headed to our favorite hill for some gun shooting, dinner, and wine.

Thursday: packing and laundry.

Friday: Working 1/2 a day, and then headed to NYC for some girl time with Priscilla. Even if we do NOTHING, i'm looking forward to it!

Emma will be spending the weekend with her dad. I'm nervous to see how that goes. I'm sure they'll be fine together.

Some of you know me, some of you don't. But let me start off by introducing myself. Hi, my name is Jessica and I'm getting divorced. GASP! I know, I know. It's a terrible word, and process. But more about that later!

I'm Jessica. I'm 26 years old. I've been a newlywed for 9 months. And I'm moving out. I'm a proud mom to 3 cats and a dog. I'm taking custody of two cats, a big orange chunker named Zeus, and his cute grey little sister, Abigail. And I'm also taking my fluffy little puppy, Emma, who will be taking a bog role in my blog. We are starting our adventure, The Pets and I, on July 1st. We are tres excited, and are happy to look to the future!!!

So as I start off, I'll be posting alot on here about random stuff. Our dreams, ou goals, our adventures, even our menus for the week! This is a great new life to look forward to, and we would love to share it with you!!!!
